Motivation

If you have ever heard the statement, "There are no good guys/girls anymore," you're not alone. We find many in this situation and want to provide a way to find a good spouse. They may not exist in your small circle, but they do exist, and we are here to connect you and teach you how to find them.

Now the statement "There are no good guys/girls anywhere" is caused by two things:

  1. You can't find the good guys/girls (i.e., looking in the wrong places)

  2. You're not the type of person who attracts the good ones (i.e., not what they are looking for)

How We Solve This:

  1. Gathering Quality Candidates: We accumulate sincere, like-minded Muslims in one platform.

  2. Guiding Self-Improvement:

    • Teach Islamic principles to help you become what righteous spouses seek.

    • Share trends and insights on what this demographic values.

Marriage then becomes a matter of preference, not scarcity. And where better to find a spouse than in a gathering of knowledge?

If this sounds like something your interested in, go and apply at Qalbain.ca/apply. Then read more below.

Market Philosophy

Marriage is a "market" of values. To attract a spouse of Khadijah’s (RA) caliber, you must strive to embody the Prophet’s (SAW) character.

Self-actualization is key: the more you grow in faith and purpose, the better your matches.

Who is Qalbain For

We're looking to build a community and network of righteous Muslims all around the globe. Yes, that's right, all around the globe! A place where high-achieving and highly ambitious Muslims meet. Not only do they have high aspirations for this dunya, but also the Akhirah. A place where students of knowledge learn and meet. A service that today's sheikhs would have used.

There are 2 lenses: Ideological and Demographical.

Ideological

Ideologically, Qalbain is for muminoon that hold themselves to a higher standard. It's for the high achievers in our communities, ones who not only excel and hold themselves to a high standard in their personal life but also in their spirituality. For the continuous learners, the big dreamers and go-getters.

Case 1

Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaidullah: (hadith) A man from Najd … came asking about Islam. Allah's Messenger (pbuh) said, "You have to offer prayers perfectly five times." The man asked, "Is there any more (praying)?" Allah's Messenger (pbuh) replied, "No, but if you want to offer the Nawafil prayers (you can)." Allah's Messenger (pbuh) further said to him, "You have to fast during the month of Ramadan." (Man asked again about any more with a similar response from the prophet(pbuh) The Prophet continued, "You have to pay the Zakat ." And then that man retreated, saying, "By Allah! I will neither do less nor more than this." The Prophet (pbuh) said, "If what he said is true, then he will be successful (i.e. he will be granted Paradise).” ( Example of doing the bare minimum) (hadith)

Case 2

Another example is when Allah speaks about those who strive in the path of Allah and their reward in Jannah

Those believers who stay at home are not equal to those who strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has elevated in rank those who strive with their wealth and their lives above those who stay behind ˹with valid excuses˺. Allah has promised each a fine reward, but those who strive will receive a far better reward than others. (Surah Nisa Ayah 90) (https://youtu.be/HlISipJj8Jg?t=388.)

Ideologically, Qalbain is for the muminoon who relates (or wishes to relate) more to the second example. For the ones who want more for their next life.

For example, Qalbain is for the Muslim/Muslimah who lives their life according to the Quran and Sunnah. It's for the Huffadh and scholars of our communities. It is for the one who seeks Islamic knowledge on a frequent basis to improve their life, whether at a local masjid, through online academies (Zad etc.) or simply through YouTube. It's for the Muslim who has a regular Quran cadence, prays the night prayer, and continuously improves themselves. It's for the Muslims who want a righteous and pious spouse and who will be one themselves. It's for the ones whose aspirations are Firdaus, not just Jannah. It's for the ones who understand that anything done outside of the halal leads to non-ideal situations, and those who understand that Islam is a religion of prevention before it's a religion of cure.

Simply put, if you want your marriage to be the reason you get closer to Allah, then this is the place for you. By no means do you have to be a hafidh to join or a sheikh in training; if you simply want to raise a righteous family and put in the work yourself, then this place is for you.

Demographical

Demographically, this course is for three groups of people:

  1. Looking and ready to get married within 6-12 months

  2. Currently talking to someone, and would like to make sure they're the best fit

  3. Looking to get married within 1-5 years, and would like the knowledge to start getting ready

Priority will be given to the first two categories due to limited seats, as category three can always join later.

Still do apply, as if there is free space, you can learn and implement the knowledge earlier.

How Qalbain Works

There are three components to Qalbain: Apply, Attend, Match

Apply

Just go to Qalbain.ca and click "apply." We’ve set up a simple page where you can apply in a few minutes. Then, if you pass the review, we’ll send a second application where you pay. As mentioned, $300 standard with 200 for the first cohort.

This allows you access to the workshop, content made after and access to the matchmaking network. I’m looking forward to seeing you there!

Attend

In the 2-day intensive seminar, you will learn everything from how to figure out what you're looking for to the day of your marriage. 2 days is barely enough time to fit this all in, so it will be intensive and fast-paced. Come ready!

Learning and knowledge are Fard in our religion, so how can you expect to find and qualify a spouse without teaching you what to do first to maximize success? You wouldn't just go and conduct open heart surgery without proper training; the same goes for marriage.

Read more about why learn below.

Match

Now that you're in and finished the class, we will start matching you with others based on your criteria of spouses. By going through all this, we not only increase your chance of success but also filter out all the non-serious or unaligned people.

In Marriage, you should, of course, do your own due diligence. Let's help you out and filter the people for you. If you're willing to take a 2-day intensive workshop on Islamic marriage, you live with Islam in your heart and life. That Taqwa is what will lead to success.

Why Learn

"Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise."

In Islam, we’re blessed with guidance for every aspect of life—from daily routines to lifelong missions. Yet when it comes to marriage, many struggle to navigate this critical decision without prior experience or structured support.

Marriage completes half your deen and shapes your happiness and success (with an 80% correlation!). It demands wisdom, intentionality, and alignment with Islamic principles. This class equips you with:

  • Clarity on what to seek in a spouse,

  • Practical steps for a halal search,

  • Knowledge of Islamic rights and responsibilities,

  • Strategies to avoid heartbreak, wasted time, or divorce.

Where better to find a righteous spouse than among those actively seeking knowledge?

Why Global

In Islam, the concept of one ummah exists. In the era of the internet, we're able to connect the ummah in such ways never before realized. Why limit your potential matches to people in your local community, your local university, your local work, or your own personal network?

Our platform connects you with potential matches across:

  • Your city or province,

  • Your country or continent,

  • The entire English-speaking Muslim world.

Righteousness and ambition knows no geography. Ambitious, devout Muslims in Houston, Vancouver, or Toronto etc share many similarities:

  • Listen to the same Sheikhs online.

  • Pursuing similar faith-driven goals in Personal Career and spiritual endeavours.

  • Try to live by the Prophet’s (PBUH) example.

Embracing the Ummah’s breadth. Your ideal partner could be anywhere; we make that connection possible.

Extra Note:

In any endeavour, the highest form is its own culture; Islam has its own culture. The most righteous and ambitious brothers in Houston are similar to the ones in Vancouver and Calgary; they listen to the same sheikhs online, enjoy similar hobbies, speak about the same things, and all try to live their lives as closely to the Prophet (PBUH) as possible. You'll get along with other righteous people, don't worry.

Why Pay

A lot of people may wonder why pay for dawah, and have a stigma around money when it comes to Islam.

Islam, at its core, is a philosophy that is eternal and sustainable in any time period.

Money allows the company and service to be just that, sustainable. For us to continue providing value in excess of the price, we need to free up the sheikh’s time to provide high-quality value consistently.

In order to grow, scale, and be able to map the entire English-speaking Muslim world, we need funding. While making work for the sake of Allah is an actual career path.

If we rely 100% on volunteering, the class wouldn’t be the best in the world, as the speakers will be mostly busy. We wouldn’t be able to travel and scale the class and network. If the network is only in one city, what’s the benefit in that? Ultimately, this is an intensive, more immersive class, not a beginner class. So naturally these types of people are willing to spend on knowledge, they spend with their time might as well spend with your money and buy back your time.

At $300, this acts as a filter. If you can’t or are unwilling to spend $300 for your own knowledge & benefit. How will you spend on someone’s daughter in the future? Etc.

It also increases immersion and focus. Think about how much more involved you are in school or university when you're paying a large sum, instead of a free lecture where the people aren’t filtered for seriousness.

Okay, so you've read this far, are interested, engaged, and are still wondering if you're the type of person Qalbain is for. The answer is yes! Excited to see you there! Qalbain.ca/apply
